We found each other through mutual friends from Michigan Technological University.

Our wedding will be about 10 years after we started dating back in 2014!

Life's joys are in the little things... sharing delicious food, hanging out with friends, being excited about nerdy things. As we get older, it's been lovely growing together and falling in love with each other day by day.

Sam surprised me with the engagement! We were in the Outer Banks visiting some of his family. We went to swim in the ocean & fly sport kites on the beach with his sister's family. A storm was clearing up on the horizon. Lo and behold, I see the camera turn from cute little nephew to us and Sam drops to one knee! While we were packing up on the beach, we got a nice double rainbow post-storm. Feels like a good omen!
